A QR (Quick Response) code is a type of matrix barcode. QR codes store information such as a URL to a website. QR codes can be scanned using any smartphone’s built-in camera. Currently, we don't have a feature to scan a QR code from within the Clickotine app, you'll have to scan the code with your phone camera.
For Apple devices:
- Once you have a QR code nearby, open the camera on your iPhone.
- Then position the camera so the QR code is in the frame. Your iPhone should scan it automatically, without any input needed from you. Once it scans the code, a notification will appear at the top of your screen with the link to the QR code's content. Tap it and you'll be brought to it. Please take a look at this article for more information on scanning QR codes with your Apple device.
For Android:
If you have an Android device, you'll repeat the same steps as before:
- On your Android phone, open the built-in camera app.
- Point the camera at the QR code.
- Tap the banner that appears on your Android phone or tablet. If it's taking time to scan, you should press and hold your finger on it. Please take a look at this article for more information on scanning QR codes with your Android device.
Please Note: Our QR code works in place of an access code. If you have not downloaded the clickotine app before scanning the code, it will take you to our try.clickotine.com website. Then once you download the app, you will have to scan the QR code again, then it will take you past the access code screen.
